1. Gada Family
Gada family is the main attraction of the society. They came from Gujarat to be settle down in Mumbai. There are total four family members in their house 1. Champaklal Gada Bapuji 2. Jethalal Gada 3. Daya Gada 4. Tipendra Gada.
Jethalal owns Gada Electronics which sells electronic items like television, refrigerator, mobile phones, cd/dvd players, washing machine and others.
2. Mehta Family
Mehta family is also Gujarati family and part of the society. There are only two family members in the house 1. Tarak Mehta and 2. Anjali Mehta.
Tarak Mehta is writer and working in one of the news paper. He writes creative columns in the news paper. While Anjali Mehta is housewife and works for the uplifment of the society.
3. Bhide Family
Bhide is Marathi family and there are total three family members in the house. Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide is working as teacher in school. He also provides teaching for the society boys and girls. While his wife Madhavi Bhide did business of pickle. Aatmaram Bhide also helps in delivering pickles.
4. Hathi Family
Hathi surname is the perfect family name for their family because all family members having too much fat body.
Dr. Hathi is working as doctor and provides free treatment in the society. He is general practitioner and his wife works as housewife. His son Goli is also having high fat body.
5. Iyer Family
Iyer family is black and white family in the society. There are two family members in the house and they didnt having children. Babita Iyer is having white skin, while her husband iyer has black skin.
Babita Iyer is working as housewife, while Iyer is working as scientist.
6. Sodhi Family
Sodhi is Punjabi family and they came from Punjab to settle down in Mumbai. Roshan Singh Sodhi has own car garage and he is so much enthusiastic person. His wife Mrs Sodhi is Gujarati native, still they both have good understanding and love with each other.
